3rd Round Playoff Information and Ticket sales

Rockwall-Heath's Region II-4A playoff game against Sherman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the University of North Texas' Apogee Stadium.

Tickets will be on sale Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both RHHS and the RISD Athletics Office on Townsend Dr. Those tickets also will be available at the Athletics Office only on Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Credit cards will not be accepted.

Advance ticket prices are $5 for students and $7 for adults. All tickets will be $10 at the gate. Stadium gates will open at 12:30 p.m., 90 minutes before the game.

There will be a $10 parking fee.

Rockwall-Heath Hawks advance to Area football championship

Rockwall-Heath’s offense pounded the ball on the ground, and the Hawks’ vaunted defense took the ball away three times, in a second-half comeback that allowed RHHS to advance to the playoffs’ Area round.

Rico Henderson scored the winning touchdown on an 11-yard run with 3 minutes, 9 seconds to play as the Hawks overcame Frisco Wakeland 22-21 in a 4A Division I Bi-District playoff game Friday, Nov. 11.

RHHS next will play Dallas Kimball, a 34-24 winner over Dallas Bryan Adams, in the Bi-District round.

Hawks Ready for Playoffs

The Heath Hawks enter the Texas HS 4A Div. I football playoffs this Friday night. The Hawks will face of against the Frisco Wakeland Wolverines. The Hawks finish the regular season with a 9-1 record with their only loss against district rival Highland Park in overtime 31-30. This is the 3rd time in the last 4 years that the Hawks have qualified for the playoffs.
